Performance Horse Reins

Performance Horse Reins are perfect for when you’re ready to finesse your horsemanship and feel as a rider. The reins are made of the same tried-and-true yachting rope as Clinton’s mecate reins, but feature a thinner diameter to offer lighter contact and more precise cues. They are designed to encourage feather-light communication with your horse.

Available as loop reins or split reins. Loop reins are 9′ long, and split reins are each 7’6″ long. Each split rein comes with a leather popper on one end to add a bit of weight.

All Performance Horse Reins attach to the bridle with the Performance Horse Slobber Straps, which are designed specifically to accommodate the reins’ smaller diameter.
